CB-Outdoors is a free high quality WordPress theme with a featured posts section. It is ideal for outdoors and travel blogs. Theme has three columns and is in blue and green colors.

CB-Outdoors Theme comes with a new featured posts plugin with a nice bounce effect. (CB-Featured plugin from cyberblog.net).

The theme requires CB-Featured plugin. You can find this plugin in the zip file.

INSTALLATION :

• To install the theme, first unzip the files and then upload the CB-Outdoors folder (except plugins folder) to wp-content/themes. Then go to your WP admin panel to activate CB-Outdoors by clicking on its name or screenshot at:
  WP 2.3 and older: Your Blog -> Site Admin -> Presentation -> Themes
  WP 2.5 - 2.6: Your Blog -> Site Admin -> Design -> Themes
  WP 2.7 and newer: Your Blog -> Site Admin -> Appearance -> Themes

   

  From WP 2.5 on you’ll have to click on “Activate [Theme Name]” after you selected the theme. In older version the theme will be activated without this step.

   

  If you have no “Site Admin” link anywhere on your blog, try http://www.your-domain.com/wp-admin/ If you’ve installed WordPress in a subfolder such as “blog”, it would be http://www.your-domain.com/blog/wp-admin/

   

  Now reload you blog homepage to see your new theme

• Upload CB-Featured plugin to /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
• Login to your WordPress admin panel. Click “Plugins” link and activate the plugin.
• Click “CB-Featured” link (under “Settings” usualy) and customize your featured posts section. (width, height, # of posts, category of featured section, title color, button color and more.)
