How to Enable Secure Facebook Browsing
It’s obvious that a lot of you want to use your Facebook on public access places such as library, cafe and so on, as enabling secure browsing for an account means that data can’t be watched by other users of the network or the ISP. This particular function isn’t enabled automatically, however, you can adjust it in your Facebook setting effortlessly.
Configuration is easy: Go to Account Setting > Security > Secure Browing, mark the checkbox – “Choose Browse Facebook on a secure connection (https) whenever possible” and after that save it.
The next time you sign in to your Facebook account, you will notice https url rather than http url on the internet browser location bar. Now, maybe you will question, why does Facebook not enable Secure exploring automatically for all its users? There are actually two causes for this:
1. Page loading speed is a lot reduced over a secure connection.
2. Several Facebook applications do not support secure https connections.
